June 24, 2008 ~ Re-pointing, Part 2

June 24, 2008. After the glorious job we did on the pylons the day before, Jon said we were ready for the next step: scoring. This is the process that gives the brick mortar its clean cut look (again not using the finger).

Dee putting in her first brick....HEY!!! Jon said no fingers!!!!That night to celebrate our new found brick, mortar, and scoring skills some of the Krewe went to the Russian bar, Pravda. We sat and talked about the joys of sketching; Jon received his first drink bought by a woman (or should I say women); we even enjoyed the company of some the locals. For the Krewe it was just another night.
