June 30, 2008 ~ Window Treatment

June 30, 2008. Our trip to Natchitoches, Natchez, and Baton Rouge was very exciting, but it was time to get back to work. This week is windows, so Super Dave was ready to crack the whip.

The windows we collected from Ms. Cane's house in Bay St. Louis plus the windows in the PRC needed repair and maintenance. This work consisted of stripping and sanding away old paint, making repairs with epoxy and dutchmen repairs, treated with boiled linseed oil, primed and then given new glass. Its a lot work, but Krewe can get it done....eventually.

Day 1: Let the stripping and sanding begin! We put on our tyvek suits, gloves, masks, and goggles and were ready to work.
